Georgia Wanda Kuhn Register

Georgia Wanda Kuhn Register, 94, of Cordova, Tenn., former Leachville resident, passed from this life Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Born in Dewey, Okla., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Iva Ross Kuhn and was a 1943 graduate of Leachville High School. Georgia was retired from Firestone Tire Manufacturing after 29 years of service. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Memphis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Alvin Register, Jr.; one brother, Carl Kuhn; two sisters, Hazel Kuhn and Margaret Kuhn.

Survivors include her son, Spencer Register of Somerville, Tenn. She also leaves her grandson, Christopher S. Register, two great-granddaughters, Hannah Register and Heidi Register; and her great-great-granddaughter Hyleigh Register.

A graveside funeral service will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 29, in the Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service in Leachville. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
