Teresa Cannon

Teresa Ann Helms Cannon, 60, of Blytheville passed away on Satuday, June 30, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born January 25, 1958 in Blytheville, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Garfield Jr and Reba (Crotts) Helms. Teresa was a member of Clear Lake Baptist Church.

Some of her favorite hobbies were landscaping in her beautiful yard and watching her roses bloom. She enjoyed going to Skin Care and visiting with Bobby Roberts. Teresa loved to go eat with her mom at the KFC on her birthday. She also loved going to rummage sales on Saturday and Sunday, where she bought for others before herself. She loved cooking, gardening, music and taking care of her family. She always sacrificed her need for the good of her family. Teresa will be remembered as a selfless wife and mother who always had a smile, even when times were tough. She had a quiet strength. She never complained and always looked to a better future.

She was preceded in death by dad Garfield Helms, Jr.; her daughter Teena Cannon; her sisters Lisa Renee Helms and Kimberly Helms Bugus Stephens; her grandmother Elizabeth Crotts and her nephew Gregory Rush;

Teresa is survived by her best friend and husband of more than 43 years, Ronald Cannon of Blytheville; her mother Reba helms of Clear Lake; one daughter Tonyia Garland and one son, Taylor Cannon, both of Blytheville; one brother Franklin (Donna) Helms, Sr. of Blytheville; two sisters Angelia (Charles) Crowe of Armorel and Bobbie (David) Jacoby of Blytheville; Also seven grandchildren;
