Virple Walker

Virple Walker, 94, of Blytheville, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Heritage Square Nursing Home in Blytheville.

Virple was born in Scotts Hill, Tennessee to Jesse B. and Maybell Moody Smith. She was an Avon representative for over 40 years and a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; her parents; two brothers, Floyd and Gurthie Smith; a sister, Helen Persful; and a grandson, Cody Walker.

Virple leaves two children, Don M. Walker and his wife Julie of Rogers, Arkansas and Larry D. Walker of the Clearlake community; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 21st at 2:00 p.m. at Dogwood Cemetery with Rev. Mike Welch officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
