Harrison Allen, 86, of Blytheville, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at his home.

Harrison was born to Harrison Allen, Sr. and Pearl (Poe) Allen in Hope, Arkansas. He was the owner and operator of Allen A/C and Sheet Metal and established the business in 1969. Harrison served his country honorably in the United State Army during the Korean War. He was a resident of Blytheville for most of his life and was a member of the American Legion. Harrison was a very active member of Jesus Name Tabernacle in Caruthersville. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and was very family oriented. Harrison was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by wife, Daisy Dildine Allen; his parents; grandson, J.J; brother, Billy Dewell Allen; sister, Margie Williams; and son-in-law, Joe Perkins, Sr.

Harrison leaves five children, Dennis Allen of Blytheville and Mountain Home, Arkansas, Mark Allen of Blytheville, Shirley Perkins of Dallas, Texas, Cynthia Stark (Bill) of Blytheville, and Pam Litton (Gary) of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Raymond Allen of Omaha, Nebraska; two sisters, Patsy Carnell and Millie Sharp, both of Blytheville; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 14th at 3:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Stepp and Rev. Anthony Stepp officiating. Entombment will follow in Dogwood Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that any memorials be made to St. Jude.
