Thomas H. Walls Sr.

Mr. Thomas H. Walls Sr. passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at the age of 80.

Mr. Walls was a graduate of Columbia Military Academy and Arkansas State University. He was born in Searcy and later moved to Blytheville where he fell in love with his wife of 60 years. He served in the U.S. Army and then moved to Nashville to pursue a career in the music industry. He loved his family, his Lord and his country.

Preceded in death by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. J. M. Walls, he is survived by his wife, Jean S. Walls;

His sons, Dr. Thomas H. Walls Jr. and wife, Glenda Nelson Walls, and James Gray Walls and wife, Janet Jones Walls;

His grandchildren, Justin Thomas Walls, David Andrew Walls, Leslie Walls Binford and husband, Caleb Woodson Binford, Preston James Walls and wife, Carly Hartman Walls;

A great-grandson, Isaac Woodson Binford; and

A brother, Dr. Joseph T. Walls and wife, Sally Walls.

To celebrate his life, Dr. Thomas H. Walls Jr. conducted a service Oct. 28 in Brentwood, Tenn.
