Stonewall 'Stoney' Jackson

Mr. Stonewall "Stoney" Jackson, 94, of Leachville, died Friday, Jan. 28., 2011, at NEA Baptist Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Silverdale, M0., he was the son of the late William Henry and Myrtle Eaton Jackson and had been a lifelong Leachville area resident. He was a retired appliance repairman and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Skaggs Jackson; three sons, Eugene Jackson, Danny Ray Jackson and Joe Wayne Jackson; a grandson, Dennis Jackson; two brothers; and one sister.

He leaves one granddaughter, Teresa Hinni of St. Louis;

One great-granddaughter, Sarah Hinni of St. Louis;

Four sisters, Irene Emery of Hartford, Mich., Juanita Miller of Coloma, Mich.,

and Mary Jackson and Rose Sexton, both of Leachville; and

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with the Rev. Lee Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery.
