Darla Atchley

Darla Atchley, 53, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Born to Carle and Joyce Floyd Russell, Darla was the district court clerk in Blytheville. Darla was a workaholic and was very dedicated to her job. She enjoyed participating in many community events, but her favorite was “Shop with a Cop” during the Christmas holidays. Darla was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. When her children were young, she enjoyed watching them play ball. Some of her favorite moments were spending the holidays with her family and taking trips with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Zayden.

Darla is survived by her loving husband, Paul Atchley of the home; three children, Alex Draughn of Wilson, Aimsley Dearen and husband Zachary of Manila and Haley Jewell and husband Tyler of Blytheville; one brother, Kendall Austin of New Hampshire; one sister, Carla Doherty and husband Steve of Blytheville; six grandchildren; and a host of friends and family.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Allen Walker officiating. Entombment will follow in Dogwood Cemetery.
