Louis McAdory

Louis McAdory, 68, of Seattle, Wash., was called home to be with the Lord on Feb. 24, 2024. He was born Dec. 25, 1955, in Sumner, Miss., to the late Bertha Green.

Louis leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 40 years, Frances Joyce McAdory of Seattle, Wash. He is also survived by seven sons, Anthony Durley of St. Louis, Mo., Louis McAdory Jr., Adrian L. McAdory, Desmond A. McAdory, Ahmad J. McAdory, Isiah I. McAdory, and Rachad W. McAdory, all of Seattle, Wash. His memory will be cherished by his brothers, Amos (Lydia) McAdory of Puyallop, Wash., and his three sisters, Bertha (Terry) Thurman of Conway, Helen Green of Osceola and Nancy (Joe) Reed of Dallas, Ga. Louis was a loving grandfather to seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Green, and two brothers, Henry McAdory and John L McAdory.

In November 2014, Louis and Joyce joined Freedom Church of Seattle, under the leadership of Pastor Zachary K. Bruce, Sr., where they found solace and community.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 16, from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 1323 W. Keiser Ave, Osceola. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola at 12:00 noon, with Pastor Archie Thomas officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
