Mary Sutton

Mary Sutton of Blytheville passed away peacefully on Feb. 25, 2024, in Jonesboro at the age of 65.

Mary was born to Bobby and Alice Ash Richardson in Killeen, Texas. She worked for Swanson for many years. After working for Swanson, Mary’s heart was truly at home. She was full of energy, always staying busy taking care of her beloved husband and family. Mary was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, which she loved to attend.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents.

Mary leaves behind her loving husband of 43 years, Barry Sutton, of the home; three children, Ashley Sutton of Blytheville, Benjamin Sutton of Gosnell and Chasity Blalock and Daniel of Mountain Home; two brothers, Bobby Richardson and Sherrill of Vilonia and Rolan Jones and Sandi of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one sister, Gertrude Hicks and Kirk of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Daniel Blalock Jr., Miranda Blalock, Romeo Derrell Wilson, Diamond McKinney and Makiara McKinney; and one great-grandchild, Amoni McKinney.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Cobb Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
