Travis Markess Young

Travis Markess Young, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away on Feb. 1, 2024, in Blytheville. He was born Dec. 15, 1990, in Memphis, Tenn., to Cleven Young Sr. and Carolyn Henderson.

Travis will be remembered for his kind heart and infectious smile that could light up any room. His passing has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who knew him best.

Travis was preceded by his grandparents, Cleo Young, Joyce Harvey Henderson, Revella Young, Charles Taylor, and great-grandmother, Norel Harvey, and one uncle, Danny Davis Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Cleven Young Sr. of Marion and Carolyn Henderson of Blytheville; two sons, Travis Young Jr. of Little Rock and Trevion Young of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; two daughters, Tru Young of Osceola and Keylani Young of Blytheville; one brother, Cleven Young Jr. of Jonesboro; and two sisters, Jacquonna Young of Blytheville and LaKishian Young of Atlanta, Ga.

Services for Travis will be Saturday, Feb. 17, at Greater Jeremiah Spiritual Church of Christ in Blytheville at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in Blytheville with minister Sandra Young-Vaughn officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville will be in charge of the arrangements.
