Ora Lee Sipes

Ora Lee Sipes, 85, of Tyronza, passed away Feb. 3, 2024, at her home. She was born Feb. 13, 1938, in Calhoun, Miss., to Edward and Cora Hollins Roach. She was a homemaker and a Jehovah Witness of Marked Tree. Ms. Sipes was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Robert Roach, L.T. Roach, Henry Roach, Gerald Roach and Howard Roach.

She is survived by one son, Elmer Ray Trantham of Trumann; three daughters, Kathy Hardin of Tyronza, Mary Jane McLemore of Etowah and Ora Mae Douglas of Jonesboro; two sisters, Katie Carter of Trumann and Beatrice Hays of Lepanto; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 8, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. with the funeral at 1 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Burial will be at Potter Cemetery in Lepanto with Bro. Ken Hardin officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza will be in charge of services.
