Octavia Christina McKinney

Octavia Christina McKinney, 47, of Blytheville passed away Jan. 30, 2024, in Steele, Mo.

She was born Dec. 4, 1976, in Osceola to John McKinney and the late Teresa Burrage. Octavia was a homemaker and of the non-denominational faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, the late Teresa McKinney; two brothers, Terry Armstrong and John McKinney Jr.; and one grandchild, Cecil Sincere Rainey.

Octavia leaves to cherish her memories her father, John McKinney, and his wife, Mary Ann McKinney, of Blytheville; two sons, Michael Rodgers Jr. of Jonesboro and Marquise Rodgers of Blytheville; two daughters, Laquinta Rainey of Blytheville and Shaquilla Rainey of Jonesboro; one brother, Antonio McKinney of Little Rock; six sisters, Fredricka McKinney of Flint, Mich., Charlotte McKinney of Blytheville, Octavia’s twin sister, Ophelia McKinney of Gosnell, and Stephanie Culpepper of Milwaukee, Wis., and Sangranita Cooper of Jonesboro and Christanita Jones of Blytheville; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Feb. 10 at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral to follow. Pastor Melvin Lofton will officiate. Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville will be in charge of the arrangements.
