Nancy Holden Jackson

Nancy Holden Jackson, 85, of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Nancy was born in Pine Bluff to James Richard and Dorothy London Holden. She had a rewarding career as a registered nurse, working at the Mississippi County Health Department and retiring from the Cancer Center in Blytheville. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church. Nancy was an avid Razorback fan and loved to travel with her husband. They especially loved to travel to all of the SEC basketball tournaments as well as the Bahamas. Nancy enjoyed trout fishing and was an excellent baker. Her specialty was cakes and pies. She served the women of the community through her membership in the PEO Chapter CI in Blytheville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Jackson; and sister, Barbara Conrad.

Nancy is survived by her children, Kevin Jackson of Blytheville and Cindy Lewis and her husband Wade, and Anna of Jonesboro; sister, Norma McGraw of Dallas, Texas; a host of nieces and nephews; and special caregiver, Alexis Stanback.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Steven Blaney and Rev. Tandy Hanson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at First United Methodist Church.
