Joyce Austin

Joyce Austin, 80, of Blytheville went to her Heavenly Home Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024. She was born Aug. 11, 1943, in Crawfordsville to the late Noal and Effie Floyd. Joyce was a retired U.S. Postal Service employee, a member of Gosnell Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and served where she was needed. She volunteered with the American Red Cross. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Darla Atchley and Carla Doherty; stepsons, Kendall Austin and Brad Dickerson; stepdaughter: Donnell Dickerson; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Floyd and Kenneth Floyd; sister, Delois Tittle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruble Austin; her parents and brother, Jerry Floyd.

Visitation will be held at Gosnell Baptist Church, Jan. 27, from noon to 1 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Dogwood Cemetery in Blytheville. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
