Joe L. Newmy Jr.

Joe L. Newmy Jr., 32, of Blytheville, departed from this life on Jan. 14, 2024, in Blytheville. Born Feb. 6, 1991, to Joe Newmy Sr. and Tanya Toliver in Blytheville, Joe was the husband to Nyesha Williams-Newmy and a member of New MT Olive M.B. Church in Blytheville. Joe was preceded by one daughter, Jo’Marilah Newmy.

He leaves to cherish his memory with his parents, Joe Newmy Sr. of Blytheville and Tanya Toliver of Memphis, Tenn.; his wife, Nyesha Williams-Newmy of Blytheville; two sons, Jo’marion Newmy and Joe Newmy III, both of Blytheville; six daughters, Ya’Kira Newmy, Ny’Kemi Newmy and Jo’Miya Newmy, all of Blytheville, Charlissa Newmy, Ja’Kirah Newmy and Ja’ Kiyah Newmy, all of Osceola; one brother, Jovonta Newmy of Blytheville; two sisters, Jo’Landria Newmy of Memphis, Tenn., and Jolesha Newmy of Blytheville; grandparents, Joe and Bertha Newmy and Carl and Mae Harris-King, all of Blytheville.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville from noon to 2 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. with pastor Carl Rogers officiating. Burial will take place at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.

Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville will be in charge of the arrangements.
