Linda Faye Rogers Presley

Linda Faye Rogers Presley, 69, of Trumann, departed from this life Dec. 29, 2023, in Jonesboro at the NEA Hospital. She was born Sept. 6, 1954, to the late James Cullen Rogers and Aileen Thrasher Rogers in Marks, Miss. Linda was a devoted wife to George “Buster” Presley. Together they selflessly cared for many foster children. She was an active member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Trumann. In addition to her parents, James and Aileen Rogers, Linda was preceded in death by one son, George Eric Presley; one brother, Tommy Rogers; three sisters, Shirley Burger, Jean Craig and Juline Wilson; and one grandchild, Braiden Presley.

She is survived by her husband, George Presley of Trumann; two sons, Scott (Toshia) Presley of Trumann and James Presley of Jonesboro; one brother, David (Kim) Rogers of Drummond, Tenn.; three sisters, Christine (Lee) Hill of Jacksonville, Nita (Ricky) Forbis of Trumann and Pam (Chuck) Goldy of Marion; five grandchildren, Shea Presley and Jade Presley, both of Bay, Cullen Presley and Adalyn Presley, both of Trumann, and Braiden James Presley of Jonesboro, as well as two great-grandchildren, Kane Presley and Nolan Krall of Bay. Linda was also blessed at an early age with an “honorary sister”, Kim Wallace of Blytheville, who remained Linda’s lifelong best friend.

Visitation for Linda Presley was held Sunday, Dec. 31, at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Trumann, from 12-1 p.m. with the funeral following. Burial was held in Jonesboro at the Nettleton Cemetery with Bro. Ricky Forbis officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville was charge of the arrangements.
