Bruce Allen McComas

Bruce Allen McComas, 53, of Leachville, passed from this life Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Rockford, Ill., he was the son of the late Raymond and Rosina Ferger McComas and had been a Leachville resident since 1999. Bruce enjoyed spending time at the lake with his family and dogs and riding ATV’s. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David McComas, and his sister, Madge McComas.

Survivors include his companion of 24 years, Sandra Smithee of the home; his son, Tanner McComas (Maddie) of Keiser; four daughters, Kayla Christy (Tyler) of Cherokee Village, Madge McComas of Belton, Mo., Alicia King of Dermott, Tori McComas (David Wright) of Leachville; four brothers, Steve McComas, James McComas, Jesse McComas, all of Leachville, and Doug McComas of Clinton, Iowa. He also leaves eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Marty McComas officiating. The family will receive visitors Friday from noon until service time. Final disposition will be private. Online guest register is at www.howardfuneralservice.com
