Alma Ricks

Alma Ricks was born April 29, 1946, to Henry James Ricks and Annie Blair in Osceola. Alma departed this life on Nov. 15, 2023, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Alma was a homemaker and a factory worker. She was a loving kind and wonderful mother. Mom will surely be missed.

Alma leaves behind two daughters, Mary Newsom (Calvin Wiggins) of Memphis and Debra Thompson Young (Verdo Young Jr.) of Blytheville; one brother, Elisha Harris of Chicago, Ill.; two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, from 11:00-11:55 a.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, 634 W. Main Street, Blytheville. Services will follow at noon. Interment will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
