Bobby “Jason” Yarbro

Bobby “Jason” Yarbro, 43, of Manila, passed from this life Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was a 1999 graduate of Manila High School and was a concrete finisher, having worked for Big Lake Concrete Finishers until 2021. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Manila and enjoyed hunting, fishing, frogging and searching for arrowheads. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Billy Yarbro, and his maternal grandfather, Bobby Jake Rice.

Survivors include his son, Tyler Yarbro of the home; parents, Bill and Holly Rice Yarbro of Horseshoe Lake; sister, Renee Yarbro Veach, and husband, Brandon, of Manila; paternal grandmother, Carol Yarbro of Manila; maternal grandparents, Jim and Janie Veach of Manila. He also leaves his niece, Riley Parker, and a nephew, Caleb Suiter.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Jeff Costner officiating. The family will receive visitors Saturday from noon until service time. Online guest register: www.howardfuneralservice.com
