Patsy Jean Lewis

Patsy Jean Lewis was born Aug. 24, 1964, to parents Lacey and Emma Atkins in Hermondale, Mo. Patsy departed this life Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by both parents and four siblings.

Patsy accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Macedonia MB Church, she later became a member of St. Paul MB Church in Barfield, which is now New St. Paul MB Church in Blytheville, Pastor Clark Phillips.

Patsy was employed by Borg Warner, American Greetings and Denso Manufacturing in Arkansas where she retired.

Patsy leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband of 43 years Charlie Lewis; two children, one son, Clifford O. Gibson (Candy) of Detroit, Mich., and one daughter, Catress Mays of Blytheville; 11 siblings, Arlene Atkins, Douglas Atkins, Dan Atkins, Gloria Kuykendall, Annette James (Joseph), Linda Atkins, Mavis Atkins and Paula Howard, all of Blytheville, Carolyn Williams of Texas, Thomas Atkins (Carla) of Olathe, Kan., and Martin Atkins of Kansas City, Mo.; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 18, at New St. Paul M.B. Church from 10-10:55 a.m. Service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in Blytheville.
