John Cecil Seals

John Cecil Seals, known as J.C., was born Dec. 4, 1950, to Charlie and Vela Seals in Keiser. J.C. answered the call on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Bobby Seals, Luke, Charlie and Robert; and two sisters, Mildred Anderson and Janette Seals.

John confessed a hope in Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Amos at Keiser Missionary Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Jenifer Seals Jacob (Daron) of Jonesboro, Tonya Seals of Osceola, Tonya and Larry Mosley of Osceola; one son, Carlos Seals of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Betty Jean Travis of Osceola and Ernestine Seals Flie of Luxora; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12-12:55 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Osceola. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.
