Jerry Henderson

Jerry Henderson, 65, of Blytheville was born Feb. 23, 1959, in Lambert, Miss., to Willie Henderson, Sr. and Cora Lee Doyle Henderson. Jerry attended school in Blytheville and was a farmer. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Earl Davis, Jr., Michael Henderson and Jessie Henderson; sisters, Jenette Funder, Myra Henderson and Mary Robinson; and a son, Chris Marshall, Sr.

He is survived by one son, Gregory Moore of Dyersburg, Tenn.; two daughters, Shirley (Gregg) Johnson of Blytheville and Darlene Henderson of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Willie (Carlon) Henderson, Jr. and Ozell Henderson, both of Blytheville; one sister, Martha Doyle of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 14, from noon until 2 p.m. at New Birth Global Ministries, 2515 West Main Street, Blytheville, where Reverend Vernel Gillespie is the pastor. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 14, at 2 p.m. Pastor John Murphy will deliver the eulogy with interment in Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
