Nina Mae Grice Woods

Nina Mae Grice Woods, 82, passed away Sept. 25, 2023, in Little Rock. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Nina was born July 8, 1941, to the late Johnny Grice and the late Lillie Walker in Denwood. She was the wife of the late Eddie Lee Woods and the mother of five children.

Mrs. Woods was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Grice and Lillie Walker; her husband, Eddie Lee Woods; and one son, Charlie Grice.

She is survived by her son, Curtis (Cassandra) Williams of Blytheville; two daughters, Dorothy Heard and Lillie Logan, both of Blytheville; one brother, Vernon Burton of Blytheville; one sister, Christel McPherson of Round Rock, Texas; seven grandchildren, Jermel Woods, Derell Woods and Timmy Woods all of Blytheville, Jeremy Heard of Jonesboro, Jernal (Jeffrey) Woods of Blytheville and Alexis Logan, also of Blytheville, and Glenna (Kenric) Logan of North Little Rock; as well as 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson, Christopher Beal. Visitation for Mrs. Woods will be held at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville on Sunday, Oct. 1, from 2-3 p.m. with the funeral to follow. Rev. Burton Furlow will officiate. Internment will be at the Gethsemane Cemetery in Blytheville.
