Rosie Mae Reed Lewis

Rosie Mae Reed Lewis of Blytheville was born Aug. 7, 1957, in Blytheville, to the late Walter Lee Reed and the late Rosie Lee Brazil Reed. She was a homemaker and a member of the Frontline Family Outreach Ministries. Mrs. Lewis passed away Sept. 9, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice Home in Jonesboro at the age of 66. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Lee Reed; mother, Rosie Lee Brazil Reed; husband, James Curtis Lewis Sr.; one son, Matthew Driver; and one brother, Eugene Troy Reed.

She is survived by six sons, Patrick Driver, Anthony (Angela) Reed, James (Deshone) Lewis, James M. Lewis, Derrick Lewis and Christopher (Taskeisha) Reed, all of Blytheville; six daughters, Felicia (Dederick) Humphrey, Rosie Lewis, Malinda Johnson, Shavon Lewis, April Furlow and Mearlon (Edward) Lewis, all of Blytheville; three brothers, Robert Washington of Blytheville, Mark Reed of Selmer and Richard Reed of Earle; 28 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, from noon. to 2 p.m. at Frontline Family Outreach Ministries in Blytheville, with the funeral immediately following at 2 p.m., also at Frontline Family Outreach Ministries, with Pastor Raymond and Mary Golphin officiating. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
