Willie Russell Rowe

Willie Russell Rowe, 93, of Wilson passed away Aug. 14, 2023, at Flo & Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born Oct. 29, 1929, Mississippi to Gathion L. and Jessie Bell Donaldson Rowe. He was a factory worker, a U.S. Army Korean War veteran and a member of New Life Tabernacle in Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by two brothers, Clarence Rowe of Chicago, Ill., and Lawrence Rowe of Osceola; three sisters, Lurlean Rowe and Jean Lewis of Chicago, Ill., and Thelma Barum of Kalamazoo, Mich.

Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 19, from 12-2 p.m. with the funeral at 2 p.m. at New Life Tabernacle in Wilson. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with pastor Keith Stokes officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola will be in charge of services.
