Alonzo Hicks lll

Alonzo Hicks lll was born Aug. 20, 1951, in Erie, Penn., to the late Alonzo Hicks Jr. and Rose B. Hicks. He departed this life on Aug. 8, 2023, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Tina Wells of Jonesboro; two sons, Corey Hicks of Louisville, Ky., and Cristopher Hicks of Lansing, Mich.; five sisters, Patricia Hill of Johnstown, Penn., Loretta Hansbrew of Erie, Penn., Shirley Jones, Carrie Dase and Alexis Hicks, all of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, Adonis Hicks of Ocean Side, Calif., and William Hicks of San Diego, Nev.; 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 19, at True light M.B. Church in Blytheville from 11:00-11:55 a.m. Funeral service will follow at noon.
