Cynthia Ann Elliott

Cynthia Ann Elliott, 85, of Blytheville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023, at her home.

Cynthia was born in Blytheville to Harris and Eugenia Sudbury Sutton. She was a homemaker and was a natural caregiver. Her greatest joy was her family, and she always cared for and worried about her family more than herself. Cynthia enjoyed the simple things in life such as fishing. Her favorite place to be was Kentucky Lake. She enjoyed reading before bed, going to new restaurants, and driving around siteseeing on pretty days. Cynthia loved nature and always kept the critters fed on her back patio. She was the sweetest, most loving lady, but was quick to tell you how it was with a firecracker side. Cynthia was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Elliott; son, Timothy Elliott; brothers, Bud, Harry and Ben Sutton; and sisters, Nan Sutton, Geraldine Coulter, Shirley McDaniel and Margie Ross.

Cynthia is survived by her children, Harry Elliott of Paris, Tenn., Deanie Elliott of Blytheville and Jackie Reece and her husband Mack of Dayton, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 11, at 11 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Sutton officiating. Burial will be private.
