James Jordan

James Jordan was born July 4, 1944, to the late George Jordan Sr. and Mary McDonald in Tyronza. He departed this life on July 31, 2023, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 79. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Joseph McDonald Sr.; brothers, Kirk McDonald, Sammie McDonald and Joseph McDonald, Jr.

He leaves to cherish memories two daughters, Linell (Michael) Weaver of Jonesboro and Coretta Esaw of Memphis, Tenn.; one son, Lawrence Waller of South Hill, Vir.; two brothers, George Jordan Jr. of Chicago, Ill., and Kirby (Teresa) McDonald of Arkansas; one sister, Rose Payne of Memphis, Tenn.; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will held Saturday, Aug. 5, at 3 p.m., at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, 634 W. Main Street, Blytheville.
