MaDonna Veach Ashcraft

MaDonna Veach Ashcraft, 78, of the Poinsett County Black Oak Community departed this life on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at her home. She was born on Oct. 12, 1944, in Blytheville to Donald and Helen King Veach.

MaDonna was a member of the Black Oak Baptist Church. She enjoyed vacations with her girls, especially the beach, shopping, traveling, working in her flower beds, and was an avid Razorback fan. Her grandchildren called her Mamaw Donna, and she loved being at any activity they were involved in.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

MaDonna is survived by her husband of 60 years, William “Billy” Ashcraft of the home; two daughters, Connie Benton (David) of Lepanto and Lorrie McCorkle (Joey) of Tyronza; five grandchildren, JP McCorkle (Taylor) of Tyronza, Heather Young (Jordan) of Lepanto, Sabrina Tice (Neal) of Lepanto, Madison Gean (Cameron) of Tyronza and Keegan McCorkle of Tyronza; nine great-grandchildren, Garner Lee and Crawford McCorkle of Tyronza, Zeke and Cruz Young of Lepanto, Andi and Mia Tice of Lepanto, Whitten, Katiwren and Abigail Gean of Tyronza; three siblings, Dennis Veach (Margaret) of Manila, Feggie Bebout (Gerald) of Manila and Randy Veach (Thelma) of Manila; and our God sent blessing, Brenda Pearson of Marked Tree.

Funeral service will be held Friday, June 30, at 11 a.m. and visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. at the Black Oak Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto. Brother Jim Duffel and Brother Mark Constant will officiate the service.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree.
