Shaquan Davontay Haynes

Shaquan Davontay Haynes, known as “Shucky the Big Gutta” to his family and friends, was born March 27, 1992, to Lanise Evans and Fredrick Haynes Jr. in Blytheville. He departed this life on June 16, 2023, at his home in Blytheville at the age of 31.

Shaquan graduated in the class of 2010 from Blytheville High School and was a graduate from UAPB College in Pine Bluff. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of New Bethel M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. Johnny Williams.

Shaquan’s survivors include his daughter, Shaelyn Haynes of Atlanta, Ga., the love of his life; his mother, Lanise Evans; father, Fredrick Haynes Jr.; two grandmothers, Linnie Heard and Sandra Evans, all of Blytheville; three sisters, Tyler Haynes and Zion Haynes, both of Jonesboro, and Kessence Collins of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Rodarius Weaver of Blytheville and Dedrick Rattler of Jonesboro; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, June 23, from 5-7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, 634 W. Street, Blytheville. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 24, at 12:00 (noon) at First Baptist Missionary Baptist Church, 600 E. McHaney, Blytheville. Interment will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
