Linda Jean Wilcox

Linda Jean Wilcox, 67, of Marmaduke, passed from this life Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at her home. Born in Dowagiac, Mich., she was the daughter of Ray and Sarah Gallo Wilcox. Linda was raised in Marcellus, Mich., and had been a resident of Marmaduke for three years and had attended the Marmaduke First Baptist Church. She enjoyed video games, playing Yahtzee, jigsaw puzzles, and riding bikes in her younger years. She also loved her dog Copper. Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Little Ben Jones (Victoria) of Marmaduke and John Jacob Rice of Three Rivers, Mich.; two daughters, Sandy Kay Metz of Lake City and Dolly Ann Rice of Three Rivers, Mich.; four brothers, Ray Wilcox of Valparaiso, Ind., Owen Wilcox of White Pigeon, Mich., Paul Wilcox and David Wilcox, both of Sturgis, Mich.; five sisters, Joyce Wilcox and Fran Wilcox, both of Marcellus, Mich., Katherine of Grand Rapids, Mich., Nancy Rowe of Mattawan, Mich., and Teresa Blackwood of Schoolcraft, Mich. Linda also leaves two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
