Billy Don Smith

Billy Don Smith, 63, of Blytheville passed away April 19, 2023, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born to Johnny and Jessie Cross Smith in Osceola on March 19, 1960. Mr. Smith was a bus driver and a member of New MT Olive MB Church in Blytheville. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jerry Thompson and Lyndon Smith; and one sister, Velma Tucker.

He is survived by three sons, Richard Harrell and Billy Smith Jr., both of Halls, Tenn., and Kenny Taylor of Blytheville; three daughters, Samantha Smith-Bufford of Halls, Tenn., Tierra Smith of Memphis, Tenn., and Ashley Parnell of Brookland; three brothers, Joe Griffin of Jonesboro, Thomas Johnson of Cordova, Tenn., and Johnny Smith Jr. of Houston, Texas; and three sisters, Saprina Aldridge of Chesapeake, Vir., Marilyn Lewis of Blytheville, and Jacqueline Thompson of Maumelle.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 29, from 9-10 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 10 a.m. at New MT Olive MB Church in Blytheville. Burial will be held at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette with pastor Douglas Echols officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville is in charge of arrangements.
