Norma Gean Stacy

Norma Gean Stacy, 74, of Leachville, widow of Herman Stacy, passed from this life Saturday, April 15, 2023, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Manila, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Mary Kincaid Fleeman. She attended Manila Public Schools and lived most of her life in the Leachville/Manila area. She was a member of Soul’s Harbor Pentecostal Holiness Church. Norma enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, attending church, and tending to her flower garden. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, and one great-granddaughter.

Survivors Include two sons, James Lee Stacy (Penny) of Lafe and Floyd Williams Jr. of Leachville; two daughters, Doris Wellman (Timothy) of Manila and Teresa Johnson (Mark) of Leachville; two brothers, Tommy Fleeman of Fresno, Calif., and Jimmy Fleeman of Monette; one sister, Carolyn Roberston (Paul) of Osceola. Norma also leaves seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Reverend David Fair officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery.
