Robert Kevin Sullivan passed from this life after a long illness on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Kevin was born in Kansas City, Mo., on Feb. 25, 1951. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Martha Sullivan. He had many hobbies and was a birdwatcher for the National Audubon Society and participated in the annual bird count for 16 years. He was an avid fly fisherman and hand tied his own flies. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter. Kevin was also a very talented custom air brush painter who was known for the murals he painted on many different types of automobiles. He was a member of the NRA and a competitive shooter. Kevin was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 46 years, Becky Tate Sullivan; son, Michael Sullivan and his wife Dr. Kristin Sullivan of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Elizabeth “Ellie” Sullivan and Samuel “Sam” Sullivan; brothers and sisters, Dr. Karen Hamilton and her husband Dr. Bill Hamilton of Spanish Fort, Ala., Brian Sullivan and his wife Chris Sullivan of Kenosha, Wis., Dennis Sullivan and his wife Rita Sullivan of Wurzburg, Germany, and Marcey Broach and her husband Steve Broach of Conway; sister-in-law, Diane Somers of Blytheville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Jason Hancock, Harrison Harris, Brad Johnson, Dustin Courtright, Nick Crouch and James Herron.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, in Elmwood Cemetery with Billy Holifield officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Cobb Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Blytheville Humane Society or to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
