Robert Earl McFall

Robert Earl McFall, 76, of Monette, formerly of Manila, passed from this life Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Manila, he was the son of the late Vernon and Irene Beal McFall and had been a Monette resident since 2000. He was a longtime route salesman and had worked for Tom’s Snack Company, Pepsi-Cola and Robertson Distributing Company. Robert also worked several years at The Malt Shop in Leachville retiring in 2011. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing for bream. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, William McFall, David McFall and Terry McFall; two sisters, Ovie Ann Pierce and Earline Denton.

Survivors include one son, Darrin McFall and wife Mandy of Leachville; one daughter, Dana McFall Housley and husband Brian of Jonesboro; the mother of his children, Betty McFall of Leachville; two brothers, Larry McFall and Ricky McFall, both of Manila; one sister, Regina George of Manila. He also leaves six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers will be Darrin McFall, Donnie J. Ashabranner, Tommy Towles, Wayne Morris, Michael Denton and Billy Gene Denton. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
