Leon Frank Jacobs

Leon Frank Jacobs, 60, of Osceola passed away at his residence. He worked for the Highway Department for ARDOT and was a member of Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Osceola. Mr. Jacobs was born Nov. 13, 1962, in Osceola to Leamon and Jessie Mae Williams Jacobs. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kevonta Jacobs; one daughter, Rachel Jacobs; two brothers, Allen Overman and Joe Overman; and one sister, Mary Marie Buchanan.

He is survived by his wife, Beurnestine Jacobs of Osceola; two daughters, Keesha Jones of Osceola and Kedaysheunia Jones of Osceola; one brother, Frankie Lee Jacobs of Osceola; four sister, Bonnie Jacobs of Osceola, Lavonne (Calvin) Hooks of Jonesboro, Emma (Luther) Whitfield of Osceola and Minnie Alexander of Osceola; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation services will be Saturday April 8, from 9-10 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Osceola. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with Pastor Ed Richardson officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
