Theodore Adams Jr. affectionately known as “Big Man”, said farewell to this world on March 7, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born June 17, 1944, in Wilson to the late Theodore Adams Sr. and Ella Adams. Theodore “Big Man” was preceded in death by his significant other, Jeannette Andrews; his parents, Theodore Adams Sr. and Ella Adams; four brothers, Walter Adams, Bobby Adams, James Adams (Tac) and Jessie Adams; three sisters, Naomi Josephine Hinton, Thea Ethel Bradford Adams and Glenzie Diane Clay.

Theodore was known around town as “Big Man” to all that knew him. He enjoyed keeping his yard up, working on lawnmowers, automobiles, riding around the city just to look around and sitting in his yard. He worked for Miles Bakery and retired from Poplin Construction Company.

He leaves to cherish his memories his nephew, Duane Herbert (Carolyn), who was more like a son to him, he was his best friend and his caregiver until the end; one sister-in-law, Cora Adams; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 18, at Progressive M.B. Church, 800 McHaney, Blytheville, from 12:00 (noon) until 12:55 p.m. Service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
