Rose Mary Polston, 75, of Manila, widow of Lowell Polston, passed from this life Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at her home. Born in Burdette, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Everett and Juanita Morgan Davidson and had been a longtime Manila area resident. She was a retired business owner, having owned and operated Showtime Video Rentals in Manila and Leachville. She later worked for Sam’s Club in Jonesboro until 2018. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and shopping on Amazon. One of her most noteworthy traits was “always being prepared.” In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Pamela Carter and Rhonda Sims, and her brother, James “Carl” Davidson.

Survivors include six grandchildren, Morgan Burt (Adam) of Manila, Landon Carter (Isabella) of Mannheim, Germany, Braden Sims (Vallory) of Monette, Lake Carter (Julianna), Livia Carter, Laina Carter, all of Shelbyville, Tenn. She also leaves three great-grandchildren, Rhowan Sims, Sadie Carter and Winnie Sims.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, March 11, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila. A private burial will be held at a later date. Online guest register: www.howardfuneralservice.com
