James Henry Ward

James Henry Ward, 75, of Osceola, passed away Feb. 20, 2023, at his home. He was a self-employed tax accountant, owned his own business for 35 years, retired factory worker and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Ward was born Nov. 2, 1947, in Luxora to Floyd and Virgie Sailors Ward. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Floyd Ward.

He is survived by his wife, Ginger Ward of Osceola; one son, Dr. James (Tammy) Ward, Jr. of Texarkana, Texas; one daughter, Mary Ward of Osceola; one brother, Doyle Ward of Osceola; two sisters, Carolyn Fikes of Olive Branch, Miss., and Paulette Austin of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; four grandchildren, Cole Johnson and Connor Johnson of Osceola, Sarah Havel and Spencer Havel of Texarkana, Texas.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of the arrangements.
