Linda Faye Oliver of Osceola was born Aug. 12, 1954, in Nodena, the daughter of Freeman Henry and Naomi Grice. Linda was a graduate of Rivercrest High School Class of 1973 and was employed with the Osceola School District working with children as a substitute teacher. She had a warm and beautiful spirit and smile that was always on display as she worked as a “Gate Keeper” in God’s house. Linda was a dutiful usher in her church, Loving Jesus Ministries in Blytheville, but was also on duty in many other churches in the area, whether it was morning worship services or funerals, she would be dressed in her pressed white uniform ready to assist where she could. Linda loved her children and grandchildren, cooking and catering. She will be missed by the community that she loved and rendered her service.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Arthur Grice; and three sisters, Florida Mae Grice, Mable Grice and Mary Brantly.
