Terrie Denice Puckett McCormick

Terrie Denice Puckett McCormick, 56, of Cardwell, formerly of Leachville, passed from this life Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Manila, she was the daughter of the late Terry Ray and Mary Ann Stockinger Puckett and a 1984 graduate of Leachville High School. Terrie had worked for the Manila Nursing Center, Monette Manor Nursing Home and retired from Twin Rivers Medical Center, formerly of Kennett, in 2005. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, cooking and swimming. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the dad and mom that raised her, Tom and Dorothy Puckett; one brother, John Puckett; and one sister, Sherrie Shepard.

Survivors include three sons, Joseph Mullen (Tai Guo) of Beijing, China, Thomas Mullen and Jarrod Mullen, both of Holcomb, Mo.; her daughter, Terrie Mullen (Chris Bevell) of St. Charles, Mo.; five brothers, Everett Puckett, Curtis Puckett (Angie), Larry Puckett (Jackie), Yancy Puckett and Jerry Puckett; three sisters, Darlene Dunn (Barry), Dianah Rowan (Kenny) and Zenia Fortson. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Caleb Greer, Ellie Mullen, Cayden Bevell, Drake Bevell, Jordan Mullen, Easton Mullen and Lyric Mullen.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Pastor David Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery.
