Glen Robert Bowers

Glen Robert Bowers, 62, of East Prairie, Mo., passed from this life Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born in Essex, Mo., he was the son of the late Johnnie and Virginia Louise Buckley Bowers and had been a lifelong East Prairie resident. Glen was a longtime employee of Mid-Valley Irrigation where he worked as a pivot repairman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Glen Bowers; two sisters, Cheryl Matheny and Janet Steere; as well as the mother of his children, Alice Bowers.

Survivors include two daughters, Janet Ditto (Gary Patton) of Oran and Shannon Turner (Chance) of Sikeston, Mo.; one brother, Jimmy Dale Bowers of Sikeston; two sisters, Carol Jones of East Prairie, Mo., and Melissa Vickers of Ohio. He also leaves 11 grandchildren.
