Jimmie Lee Yankaway

Jimmie Lee Yankaway was born March 31, 1961, in Osceola to the late John Thomas Yankaway and Rebecca Branch Yankaway. At the age of 61 he passed away on Jan. 31, 2023, at his home in Blytheville. Mr. Yankaway was a factory worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Yankaway and Rebecca Branch Yankaway; one daughter, Shricca Yankaway; two brothers, Derrick Yankaway and John Yankaway Jr.

He survived by his wife, Margaret Yankaway of Blytheville; one son, Tylon King of Forrest City; two daughters, Roslyn Harris of Wilson and Roxie Wilson of Conway; three brothers, Robert Yankway of Minneapolis, Minn., Donald and Aaron Yankaway, both of Osceola; five sisters, Mary Yankaway of San Antonio,Texas, Sandra Yankaway of Blytheville, Angie Yankaway of Osceola, Annie Yankaway of Osceola, and Melinda Yankaway of Marion; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A visitation service will be Saturday, Feb. 11, at Greater Macedonia M.B. Church in Wilson from 1-2 p.m. and the funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with pastor Bryant Whitted officiating. Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville will conduct the services.
