Michael John Ledbetter

Michael John Ledbetter, 75, of Blytheville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Mike was born in Blytheville to Sonny and Bette Davis Ledbetter and was a graduate of Ouachita University. He retired from Gosnell School District where he was a teacher and coach for the junior and senior high school for 25 years. Mike had a passion for sports and loved to coach baseball and basketball. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Arkansas Razorbacks fan. Mike enjoyed eating at the hospital cafeteria daily with all his friends, and made many friends that became second family. Mike loved being on the golf course and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Sims and Lynn Rounsaville.

Mike leaves his nephew, Hunter Rounsaville and his wife Starla of Blytheville; and great-nephews, Brayden and Zane Rounsaville of Blytheville.

Funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Holifield and Danny Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
