L.Q. Hardin

L.Q. Hardin, 79, of Tyronza, passed away Dec. 17, 2022, at his home. He was a retired carpenter. Mr. Hardin was born May 5, 1943, in Weona, to Hazel Hardin and Loretta Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Merrill Dubose; one son, Michael Hardin; two brothers, Denver Hardin and Charles Hardin.

He is survived by his wife, Lou Hardin of Tyronza; two sons, Logan (Lindsay) Hardin of Tyronza and Stony (Reda) Fleming of Batesville; three daughters, Tina (Kurt) Shatzl and Tammy (Al) Cissell of Hot Springs, and Tony (Joe) Turner of Jonesboro; one brother, Carl Hardin of Plant City, Fla.; two sisters, Shirley (Bill) Adams and Nancy Salisbury of Plant City, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 20, from 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Burial will be at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza will be in charge of arrangements.
