Glen Ray

Glen Ray, 65, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Glen was born in Blytheville to Byron “Bobby Joe” Ray and Eva Viola Lowery Ray and was a member of Manila United Pentecostal Church. He was the owner of Glen Ray’s Towing and Recovery and was an ASE master certified technician, as well as wreck master certified. When he wasn’t working, Glen loved tinkering in the shop and was an OG foodie that loved experiencing new food. He was a master griller, and his specialty was Boston butts and ribs. Glen adored his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe; and sister, Deliah Jones.

Glen is survived by his wife, Wendy Adams Ray of the home; mother, Eva Viola Ray of Blytheville; children, Glen Michael Ray of Jonesboro, Marty Ray of Nashville, Tenn., Brittney Chamness of Manila, Freddie Fells of Blytheville, Brent Baker of Jonesboro, Jordan Fells, Allie Fells, Kristin Jones and Emily Ray, all of Blytheville; 18 grandchildren; brothers, Terry, Mark and Chris Ray, all of Blytheville; and sisters, Lena Ellington of Blytheville and Paulette Harmon of West Helena.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert White and Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery.
