Gary Don Trowbridge

Gary Don Trowbridge, 78, of Blytheville, entered into eternal rest in his home Nov. 25, 2022, after a battle with vascular dementia. He was born in Brookland to Zelma Floyce Seats and Calvin Arnold Trowbridge. After graduating from Brookland School in 1962, Gary went on to join the Air Force. After a four-year stint in the Air Force, he took a job at Bush Brothers Canning and worked there for 32 years. When he wasn’t working, he could be found bowling, fishing or painting.

Gary is survived by his children, Tanya Yowell and husband Darin, Danny Moody and wife Gaye, Sharon Owen and Van Moody and his wife Lisa; his sister, Freda Woolard and husband Hal; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Gary was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda Trowbridge; and his brothers, James Swaner, Curtis Trowbridge and Ray Trowbridge.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday evening at Cobb Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Cobb Funeral Home.
