Charles Lee Hatcher

Charles Lee Hatcher was born Jan. 14, 1955 in Crawfordsville, to Jessie James Hatcher Sr. and Willine J. Hatcher. On Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022, Charles departed his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie J. and Willine J. Hatcher; one sister, Viola Hatcher; two brothers, Henry W. Hatcher and Troy L. Hatcher.

He was a member of Bethlehem Temple Church in Blytheville under the leadership of Bishop R.L. Jones. Charles was an employee of the City of Blytheville for 40 years.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Carolyn Hatcher of Blytheville; five daughters, Chanelle Hook of Fort Worth, Texas, Charity Johnson of Hammond, Ind., Robbie Williams and Alicia Phillips, both of Rockford Ill., and Tasha Ford of Springfield, Mo.; two sons, Tommy Hook of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Willie Ford of Rockford, Ill.; three sisters, Willine Hatcher of Peoria, Ill., Barbara Blackmon and Tammie (Albert) Jones, both of Blytheville; five brothers, James (Theresa) Hatcher of Newport, Jessie James (Katie) Hatcher, Frank (Glean) Hatcher, Henry Lee Hatcher and Derrie (Ella) Hatcher, all of Blytheville; 17 grandchildren; his best friends, Tommy Lee and James Clark; two special friends of the family, Tracy Range and Carolyn Faulkner; and a host of other loved ones.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 5, from 10- 11:55 a.m. at New St. Paul Church in Blytheville. Funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. (noon). Interment will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette, Bishop R.L. Jones officiating.
