Wilma Dean Dyer

Wilma Dean Dyer, 84, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, at Gosnell Health and Rehab.

Wilma was born in Mountain View to Otis and Clarcie Diffey Webb. She was a graduate of Armorel High School where she played basketball and she attended Arkansas State University. Wilma worked for Combined Insurance Company of America in Chicago for 27 years before retiring. She was an avid reader and enjoyed going fishing. Wilma loved the Lord and was a member of Armorel Baptist Church. Family was most important to Wilma and she loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dyer, Sr.

Wilma is survived by her children, Mary Dyer of Blytheville and Larry Dyer, Jr. and his wife Agnes of Hobart, Ind.; five grandchildren, Larry Dyer III, Monica Dyer, Ahmad El-Ali, Mariam El-Ali and Michael Dyer; four great-grandchildren, Justin, Jazym, Henry and Addy; brother, James Webb and his wife Dottie of Nevada; and sister, Oberta Turpin and her husband Ray of Little Rock.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 2:30 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Wofford officiating. Burial will be private.
