Rebecca Loreda Lamb Wise

Rebecca Loreda Lamb Wise, 74, of Blytheville passed away Sept. 15, 2022, after a short illness.

Rebecca was born July 17, 1948, in Kennett, Mo. She was one of eight children born to the late William Robert Lamb and Grace Helen Welch. She was a graduate of Armorel High School class of 1966. After graduation she enlisted in the United States Army proudly serving for two yeas earning the National Defense Service Medal. Rebecca also was a member of the Fort Jackson, S.C., women’s basketball team. Rebecca was Elvis Presley’s number one fan. Most importantly she loved God and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Lamb, of Sheridan.

Rebecca is survived by her children, Constance Emmert (Tony) of Blytheville, Kimberly Coble (Jerry) and Cynthia Wise (Chris), both of Bennettsville, S.C.; a bonus daughter, Sheila Hunt of Lugoff, S.C.; brothers, Ronald Lamb (Judy) of Jonesboro, Robert Lamb (Barbara), William Lamb (Christy), both of Blytheville; sisters, Robbie Gallagher, Rhonda Enos (Michael) and Martie Stallings, all of Blytheville; grandchildren, Chad Evans (Candise), Shane Davis (Jennie), Taylor Kienzle, CJ Jackson (Robert), Evan Coble (Megan), Devin Coble (Amaira), Scott Weaver, Beth Emmert, and bonus grandson, Kyle Perkins; great-grandchildren, Emma Murrell, Paul Perkins, Teinlyn Perkins, Carl Kienzle, Maddie Coble, Alayla Coble, Brantley Doss, and Lincoln Foster; and several nieces, nephews and large extended family.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m. at Mary’s Chapel Baptist Church, in Huffman, with Bro. Mike Welch, Bro. Rick Brothers and Bro. Shannon Miller officiating.
